What you see here is a very special one of a kind GT. In 1992
and 93 Shelby American Auto Club with FOMOCO built a total of 65
of these very special cars. In 1992 they took a stock GT, fitted
it with SVO heads, larger throttle body and a few other mods to
turn a stock 225hp motor into 290hp, Cobra-R wheels, special
paint and leather turned it into a 40k car called the SAAC Mk1.
This car is #14. It was heavily modified after the fact, it
features a 351c.i.high performance engine with a Vortec
supercharger,75mm throttle body, all aluminum pulleys, headers
and frankly to much more to list here. Estimated hp is somewhere
north of 600, oh and just for kicks, if that's not enough hp,
how about a shot of nitrous?. Other mods are a 6 speed
transmission, adjustable suspension, 31/2" exhaust, 4 wheel
Wildwood disc brakes, the list just goes on and on . On the
inside we have leather and lots of it, even around the roll
cage, hand stitched no less. White face gauges, custom sound and
only 21k on the odometer make this car once owned by a Portland
Trailblazer, truly one of a kind! |
